The government has been dragging their heels for a long time on this project, which will help democratize media access, but it looks like the initiative is now allowed to apply for a broadcast license. LCR could use the support of everyone who values free and independent media. Favorite track: Reggae Prophets.

This is a fundraising album for the Lubombo Community Radio Initiative, the first community radio station in Swaziland, Southern Africa. Recorded by Myles Mumford on location in Siteki, Swaziland, the album features 9 local bands from across the Lubombo region. All monies raised will go towards the purchase of much needed broadcast equipment for the radio station.
